Leverages current methodologies in qualitative research to allow introverts to express their thoughts and perceptions in an online and offline paired interview setting in Pakistan.
- A typical extrovert acquires energy through active involvement, is generally excited when around people and is a source of energy for others, whilst a typical introvert feels energised when alone and likes getting energy from ideas from their imagination.
- Consumers willing to participate in qualitative research tend to be those who are open to new experiences, meeting new people and being in the limelight, which means marketers fail to explore and connect with the less articulated audience that holds great power in shaping a brand’s fate.
- 23 individuals were selected, across the major urban centers in Pakistan – Karachi and Lahore – to participate in an online test preceded by an offline paired interview of the respondent with their friend to gauge different behavioural patterns in introverts.
- The research found that reliability, thoughtfulness, care and quietness are the traits of introverts, and they cherish a moment categorised by inner peace.
